Welcome to V-Twin Head Porting.  Head porting is a critical modification in maximizing the horsepower of an engine.  Head porting is the safest, most effective, and most affordable way to make horsepower gains.  All of the modifications made to your motorcycle won't give you the most out of your motor if the heads do not flow the proper amount of air.  The idea behind head porting is that the more air that flows through your motor, the more power you will have.  It is not uncommon to see gains of 20 horsepower by getting your heads ported.
